Colgate Palmolive produced this series of bathtub soap containers called Soakys in the 1960’s. Here’s a rare set of all 4 Universal Monsters, ready to make a great addition to your monster collection. All are in nice condition. Here’s the details for each:

Frankenstein: Light paint rub on tip of nose. A few paint rubs on hands. No cracks or dents in body. Head unscrews fine with no splits from over tightening.

Mummy: No splits in neck or damage to the body. Head very clean. Paint rubs to hand and head of snake at feet, which appears commonly on this figure.

Wolf Man: No splits or damage to neck. The body doesn’t have any dents or damage. Very light paint rubs to fangs in mouth. Very light scratches to blue pants and some kid neatly drew a “T” on the upper left waist area. Not very visible from the front view. See detail photo.

Creature: This figure appears in great shape. No damage to neck or any other area that we see. Very slight paint rub on left side of upper red lip. Other than that, he’s a very clean example.

Where did we get these items? Our in-house artist & Creative Director is a pack rat and has been collecting all kinds of items that caught his eye for the last 40 plus years. He’s collected so much that he wants to thin out his herd and he’s doing so through the Retro-a-go-go! Studio store. Most of these items have been on display for Doug’s artistic inspiration or just to take his mind off the challenges of adulting. Now it’s your turn to care for these rare collectibles and enjoy them in YOUR archive!
