Original 1963 Aurora Creature from the Black Lagoon - Built + Unbuilt Model Kit

Original 1963 Aurora Creature from the Black Lagoon built up model kit and original box. Both are marked 1963. Model kit is in very nice condition with a careful, well done paint job. Ready for display or to strip all the paint off and give it your own color scheme. Box top colors are bright with some light edge wear, chips out of the print and a few light long scuffs on the box front. One short end was torn on the right corner and just off the left corner and carefully repaired with tape for the inside of the box. The box bottom is very rough, with creases, dents, tears and tape repairs both on the inside and out.

The built-up kit and original box make for a nice, early 60’s, Creature display.

Where did we get these items? Our in-house artist & Creative Director is a pack rat and has been collecting all kinds of items that caught his eye for the last 40 plus years. He’s collected so much that he wants to thin out his herd and he’s doing so through the Retro-a-go-go! Studio store.
