Aurora The Mummy - Built + Unbuilt Model Kit
Two kits in this lot- an unbuilt version of the Aurora Mummy and a painted, assembled version. Here’s the info on condition:
Assembled and painted Mummy kit- this looks like it was created from a later, 1980’s Illuminators release. Clear, red plastic can be seen on the bottom underneath of the kit. The paint and build up is nicely done.
Original boxed, 1970’s issue of the Mummy kit. Parts are bagged and appear to be all present. Nothing glued or assembled. Glow in the dark parts are mostly still on the sprue. Original instruction sheet included. Box is in nice shape. Top is slightly concave. White areas of printing on sides have slightly yellowed from age.
In summary, you get a nice boxed, vintage 1970’s Mummy kit AND another fully assembled kit, all ready to display in your collection. Call your Mummy, she’ll be impressed!
Where did we get these items? Our in-house artist & Creative Director is a pack rat and has been collecting all kinds of items that caught his eye for the last 40 plus years. He’s collected so much that he wants to thin out his herd and he’s doing so through the Retro-a-go-go! Studio store. Most of these items have been on display for Doug’s artistic inspiration or just to take his mind off the challenges of adulting.
