1960's/70's Ben Cooper and Collegeville Halloween Costume Sets
Three vintage Halloween costumes in this lot:
Hairy Scary rooted hair Vampire girl costume from Ben Cooper. Copyright marked 1978. Costume and mask are in good condition. Costume is a small 4-6. Plastic smock style. Undamaged. Box has some creasing and shelf wear. Clear plastic window is damaged/split.
Original Ben cooper paper insert inside.
Ben cooper Spook Town Skeleton costume: Guessing this is late 1960’s/early 1970’s edition. Size large 12-14. Costume in very nice shape. Mask looks good with no apparent splits. Box is very good with an undamaged window.
Collegeville Gypsy Costume: Large size fabric dress with glitter touches. Size large 12-14. Some staining and much wrinkling to fabric dress. Not sure how well it will clean. Also includes a scarf like head covering. Mask has some light splits along bottom. Box has shelf wear and some waving. Nice Halloween coloring and graphics to box top.
Overall, a nice addition to your Halloween costume collection!
Where did we get these items? Our in-house artist & Creative Director is a pack rat and has been collecting all kinds of items that caught his eye for the last 40 plus years. He’s collected so much that he wants to thin out his herd and he’s doing so through the Retro-a-go-go! Studio store. Most of these items have been on display for Doug’s artistic inspiration or just to take his mind off the challenges of adulting.
